GRUMBLE!
So after all my excitement and pimping of Choke, I am displeased to report that it will not be coming to the Binghamton area. Frickity frick! It is, however, coming to a quaint-sounding theater in Ithaca. I will be attending this weekend, probably on Sunday. Only for Chuck. I have been up to Ithaca exactly once, but I think it will be a fun trip. I am beyond pumped to see this movie, and factoring in a little road trip will just make it that much better. I checked the listings for Moosic, even, and nothing! Freaking limited release. At least there's one theater somewhat close.
I found two pairs of shoes today when I was shopping at Kmart. Finally... shoes that are comfortable and fit! And don't make me feel all gimpy and gross. Both pairs are flats: one pair is black leather and the other is gray "suede" with a buckle over the toes. So cute. I also got the SATC movie and am entering to win a pair of Manolos (ha... yeah, like that'll happen). A girl can dream. Mom & I went to lunch before we went shopping. We went to Los Tapatios in Vestal and got some bangin' fajitas. I had a mad craving for them last week, so I was satisfied. I also had my watermelon soda (YUM!) and enjoyed ogling our cute waiter. I always feel odd speaking Spanish in a restaurant like that, because I don't want the wait staff to think I'm patronizing them. But a little bit slipped out involuntarily when the waiter said "gracias" to me.
I watched Scream with Lauren & Erica this afternoon, too. I forgot how much I love that movie. I used to be obsessed with that trilogy, and I even have the collector's boxed set. Yes, you read that right.
I think I'm going to devote tomorrow to creative pursuits. I have a lot of jewelry supplies that I haven't done anything with, and I'm itching to make something new.
