Oh man. what a waste of a day. i went and got milk. like anyone is going to drink milk today.
I was looking back at an old LJ post i did where i mentioned jess coming home soon and how it will make "the cage" feel a lot bigger. She is home now and the cage is HUGE! She has been so good for me this summer. Another friend to have around.
Last night we went to panera bread and a movie. did you know you can get half a salad and half a sammie for like 7 bucks? such a good deal. eat up.
the movie we saw was a scanner darkly. it was amazing. people who liked the message behind requiem should see it. people who like sci fi should see it. people who like good movies should see it. people who dont think keanue can act should see it. we both left the movie so bummed out but in a good way. i want to see it again and talk about it with people who have seen it.
adam and i and paul recorded a few songs and made a little cd. we want to make more. we are working on new stuff soon, i hope. certain things get in the way of it. hopefully we can work past that.
moni came down and hung out with me on saturday night. then we went on a whale watch the next day. the whole thing was great. she is one of my best friends and im glad i got to see her. i dont know when i am going to see her again, but atleast it wont be longer than about a month or so. this summer is going so quick in some ways.
but for the most part its going at the perfect speed. i am spending lots of time with friends. lots of time working. lots of time doing everything. i know i will be happy to get back to school at the end of the summer and that i wasnt digging it in june but now. i am not sure. i feel like no matter how much i do this summer, by the end of it i am going to feel like i wasted so much time on the wrong things. Also, considering I am planning on this being the last summer at home, i really hope that at the end of it i feel like it was a good one.
this weekend, ashley is coming. thank goodness. cant wait. its only one night but thats better than no nights. right? love what i can get. pretty soon it will be back to the good all the time fun time.
ECW in two weeks. that is going to be the best ever. its fuckin ECDUBS. how could it not? no RVD, bummer. still - sabu, cm punk, big show, and a bunch more. cant fucking wait.
