Tonight adam jordan and i walked around. we smoked. we drank. we solved all of the worlds problems.

1. we wrote a song together that is amazing. We had been in a slump and wanted to write the best song we could and we tried today. we failed because we were looking to to write the best song ever. then later we were sitting and talking and the question came up of why is what we were doing important or significant, if it was and we talked about why we were where we were. And from that came a really good song. adam's hand is hurt so we cant do music yet but its coming and i know its going to be great.

2. we came up with the idea for the best cd ever. Adam and I have music we wrote together. Paul, Adam, and I do too. Adam and his friend Adam Lemire do too. I do with Corey and Paul. The Bowie brothers do too. All the mixtures of my friends have these great songs. but we realized that to force a whole cd out of one of these combos might produce shit or not be possible at all. So why force it? why put 12-20 songs by me, paul, and adam on a cd if only 3 of them might be great? Why make "failure" and acoustic song just because a drummer and distortion dont work on "behind the door"? Why add Adam Lemire to every song if he only made 1 great song with Hollywood AJ?

You dont have to have a band to make an album. you dont have to force things. Adam and I decided we are going to make an album that is not from a band but from a collective. All these great musicians i know are all amazing but not all connected. We are all connected through each other and that should be enough to make an album. We are are going to have songs from whichever combinations of people have worked and produced great music.

This is the kind of thing that could get us all together and the kids could get into it too. All of us together work well in different combinations. This is music and it deserves to be that way.
