Bowling for Soup Concert
I am running on 1 1/2 hr of sleep. I didn't leave school until 4:15pm to go to the House of Blues in Orlando by myself. Instead of taking I-4 west, I took I-4 east and went through Orlando into Winter Park. I turned around and went down I-4 west. I didn't get there until 7:15ish. I bought a $20 T-shirt from the gift shop and was able to get into the "Pass the line" line. I was dead last in that line but
when I got into the place I got front row center, baby!
MC Lars was the first opening act and he was a white rapper who made his music on his laptop. He was very talented but he could not dance, lol. Next came the Riddlin Kids who did really awesome. The whole band was really hot and they all would look at us and smile. Then came American Hi-Fi who did awesome too. Again, all cute guys.
Then Bowling for Soup played and was so fucking awesome. They played a lot of songs from the new album and some songs from Drunk enough to dance and did 3 songs from Here's to Johnny. They did a cover of Britney Spears song, "Hit me Baby One More Time" and it was awesome. I think they did that at the Warped Tour but I don't remember.
Anyways, the concert didn't end until 1:15ish and they told us that we could meet them upstairs for Pics and Autographs. I bought a 8x10 picture for them to sign and a bottle holder that said Bowling for Soup. I was pissed that I didn't bring more cash. The lead singer from Riddlin Kids was there signing autographs so I told him that it was my first time hearing them live and did really good live. So he signed the back of the BFS pic "Thanks! I really, really appreciated it!" And I got a pic on my camera phone and got a hug. He was so sweet.
Then I went into the line for autographs and was pretty much last. I didn't think that they would let us get autographs cause it was hitting 2am but by 2:30 I got to meet them. I got to hug all of them and they told me that I smelt really good, which surprised me cause I was so fucking sweaty earlier and they signed my picture. They are so awesome to meet. Chris kissed me on the cheek so I gave him one back cause I didn't get to meet him at the warped tour and he wrote Chris love Angie backwards, hehe.
I didn't get back home until 4am and I had to be at school at 8am for a presentation that I didn't even start. I did my presentation in an hour and I got a perfect score on it, which only 2 of us got. I was damn proud of myself. Everyone spend a lot of time on it and I pulled it off in a hour with only very little sleep.
They are coming back in the summer so DOUG you better not get screwed this time and come!!
