Doesn't happen every day...
Went to the doctor due to a rather alarming speckly rash covering my entire torso, came away with suspected Scarlet Fever! I do have mild headache, sore throat and vague wooziness, but not sure I'd've taken much notice of that without the rash. I look like someone's speckled me with a toothbrush dabbed in pink paint!
Feel rather guilty that I've been told not to go to work or college for a week to make sure I'm not contagious (especially as I work with people with depressed immune systems), but hey, a free week to catch up on coursework, watch all three Pirate of the Carribean movies and read some of the new books I got can't be bad!
Couldn't stop laughing when the doctor told me, just feels so unreal! I'm rarely seriously ill, the last time was the stomach bug at Southsea and I remember then being rather annoyed it had caught me and I still didn't get it as badly as some of the others, it just stripped me as I was already underweight.
I firmly believe that penicillin works better when you eat Ben and Jerry's as well, so sent the hubby out for supplies!
