This was an unexpected lovely long Christmas treat, Christine! YAY!!
Aw, I loved how Ennis was straight away on the lookout for Jack when coming back to camp ♥ And OMG Christine the gorgeous way you wrote Jacks wonderfully sweet and hot words to his Ennis made me feel weak and giddy too. Really. You wrote that perfectly. I loved it, loved what he said to Ennis ♥
Jack not wanting Ennis to shower and getting so turned on by his smell was fucking hot...phew..
I loved this part:

this was Ennis giving him this, his own silent cowboy who had said so little about his feelings, but when he did, oh boy when he did, it was like he was reciting a whole book of love poems, because two words out of Ennis were like five hundred out of anyone else. And here he was, saying the most important words of all, as if by doing this, he was saying, "I know, and I feel and want it too."

Beautiful. I also loved how Jack reassured Ennis afterwards. You write them so well together, I can feel the love and tenderness so clearly and it's beautiful.
These lines are another example of why I love your writing so much:

When the door closed, Ennis leaned against it, closing his eyes as the smell of Jack filled the room, lingering like a soft summer breeze. He breathed in the sweet scent, wanting to keep it stored inside him forever.

I'm still adoring Meli and I can't wait to find out what she comes up with, it had better be soon because Jack's about ready to explode! I can imagine it's great fun writing Meli!
I also loved the campfire scene and how Ennis impresses so many of the boys.
I can hardly wait for Ennis to give Jack his present! That's going to be so special! Whoooooooo!
This story is beautiful and sweet and I love it and the way you're writing it. Thanks so much dearest Christine and a very Merry and Beautiful Chrismas to you and your loved ones ♥
