Summary: The Dong Bang apartment has become too crowded. When more living space is needed, the boys will ask the company for new living quarters. When they arrive at the destination they are met with their dream house, however, will that dream turn into a nightmare once obscure things start happening in that house?
A/N: Thank my brother for pranking me (inspiration seen in Changmin's haunting) because that's why I wrote this chapter LOL. Enjoy~

It was Wednesday and everyone in the house was resting after a hard day of practicing for their presentation the next day. Yunho was washing the dishes downstairs (it was his turn that day) while Jaejoong was listening to music in his room. Yoochun and Junsu were in Yoochun’s room, supposedly playing some card game, but Changmin wasn’t stupid. He knew Junsu was not going back to their shared room that night; he hadn’t slept in his bed since the day they moved to the house.

Changmin was lounging by himself on his bed, laptop sitting on top of his outstretched legs. He wore a frown on his face, product of the many hours he had been trying to get an actualization for his computer to work. Without it he couldn’t watch videos, and it seemed every single interesting thing on the internet decided to disappear. Giving up, he signed in on messenger, hoping to chat with some of his high school friends. It had been a while since he saw them or even talked on the phone with them so maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea after all. He opened a Solitaire game while his messenger loaded. He minimized the game after a few minutes and his face fell. There was no one online, only Junsu and Yoochun and they were probably playing some shooter game against each other seeing as they were listed as “busy”. He sighed and was about to log out when a notification window popped up.

ChoSH320@mail.com added you to their contacts.
Add to my contacts.
Block.

The cursor hovered over the “Block” option for a minute. Changmin knew it wasn’t a good idea to accept a stranger on his contacts lists, seeing as it could be a fangirl or worse, some media stunt, but he was bored out of his mind and if he was careful then there was nothing to be afraid of, right? And so, ignoring his better judgement, Changmin clicked on “Add to my contacts”.

As soon as he did it, a chat window popped up.

ChoSH320: Oppa?

A fangirl. He was probably going to kill whoever gave the fans his e-mail address but at that moment he was too bored to care.

88SCM_02: Who are you?

ChoSH320: My name is Cho Sanghee, Oppa. How is Junsu-oppa?

88SCM_02: I don’t know anyone named Junsu.

ChoSH320: Kkkkk sure u don’t, Oppa. If Oppa isn’t Changmin-oppa, then what’s Oppa’s name?

Changmin borrowed one of his junior high classmates’ name.

88SCM_02: Kim Minkyung.

88SCM_02: Who gave you my e-mail address?

ChoSH320: That’s a secret ~_^. Does Oppa want to see something cool?

Changmin didn’t reply. The girl would probably send him a request to video chat and he would end up watching some very underage breasts and that could cause a scandal. He was about to close the window when he saw that the girl was typing something.

ChoSH320: Does Oppa believe in ghosts? I have something cool 2 show Oppa!

88SCM_02: What is it?

ChoSH320: ghost3u.kr.net/

ChoSH320: It really works, Oppa.

88SCM_02: What is that?

ChoSH320 is now offline.

Changmin wondered if he should click on the link or not. It could contain a virus or something along those lines. He decided he had been daring enough for one night and was going to close the window, however his hand twitched -probably from the exertion at dance practice earlier- and he accidentally clicked on the link. He cursed when his browser opened and started loading the page.

The page had a black background, a text box righ in the middle and something written in blood red letters on top of the text box.

Dear Visitor:

If you’ve reached this page then it means you are not alone anymore. A presence is now in the room with you. If you’re still reluctant to accept this fact please proceed to ask it anything that will prove your suspicions true.

Good Luck.

Changmin snorted. What kind of prank was this? He had heard of these types of games before from his younger sister so he wasn’t so keen on believing there was a ghost in the room with him. Still, he decided to give it a shot just to amuse himself. He put his cursor upon the white space in the text box and started typing.

What color socks am I wearing?

The crimson letters disappeared and instead the answer appeared in bold white letters over the box.

You’re not wearing socks.

Changmin smirked. That was too easy. Usually people try to trick these things on the first try so it was probably obvious that he wasn’t wearing socks. He typed the same question again just to make sure he couldn’t cheat the “ghost” with that question. Still the answer was the same.

You’re not wearing socks.

Changmin was amused. He started typing again, intend on figuring out how the thing worked.

What did I do earlier today?

You went to dance practice.

Okay, so maybe this was operated by some stalker fangirls, the same ones that got his e-mail, and are trying to pull a prank on him.

How many fingers am I holding up?

He held up three fingers but as the answer started appearing on the screen he lowered one, only leaving half of it raised. The answer deleted itself and a new one appeared:

You’re holding two and a half fingers.

Changmin jumped from the bed and went to check the window. It didn’t seem like there was anyone outside spying on him but he still closed the curtains. Stalker fangirls were really high-tech these days. He went back to the computer and typed another question, sure that he was going to beat the “ghost” this time.

What is the most hurtful thing anyone has said to me?

Changmin never told anyone, not even his members, about that time when he got home and showed his outstanding grades to his father. The words he said still rang inside his mind like the dreadful whistling of a bomb falling towards the ground.

The most hurtful thing anyone has said to you is when your father said “you’re still not good enough”.

A chill ran down Changmin’s back. There was no way a computer, a bunch of fangirls or some other psycho could know that. With shaky fingers he typed another question:

Where are you?

I am sitting on Junsu’s bed.

Changmin sprang from his bed and ran out of the room.

Jaejoong was just getting under the covers when hurried steps were heard outside his door, and before he knew it his door was being yanked open and a panting Changmin appeared leaning on it after he closed it.

The eldest member noted how the maknae was panting hard, all color had left his face and his eyes had a wild look to them, almost like Junsu’s eyes that day when he- Jaejoong shook his head, putting that thought away from his mind and instead turned to address Changmin.

“Are you alright Changmin? You look as if you just found your porn stash on fire”, Jaejoong tried to joke but Changmin still wasn’t answering.

“Changmin-ah?” he asked, his face bunching up with concern for the youngest.

Changmin seemed to snap out of it and looked at Jaejoong; his breathing relaxing. He walked slowly towards the lead singer’s bed and sits down on the border, looking away from Jaejoong and hanging his head. By now his breath is less labored and Jaejoong can tell he’s calm enough to tell him what’s wrong.

“What’s wrong Min?” Jaejoong asked, crawling over to rub soothing circles on Changmin’s back with his hand.

“A …friend send me a link on messenger”, Changmin swallowed. He was not telling Jaejoong that he was chatting with a fan, “you ask questions and supposedly there’s a ghost in the room with you while you do so”.

There was a moment of silence, then the hand on his back was gone and before him Jaejoong laid on the floor laughing, rolling around and holding his sides. Changmin was expecting that type of reaction but it still made him feel pretty foolish.

Jaejoong tried to speak between fits of laughter, wiping tears from his eyes.

“So you’re telling me you believed that crap?”

“Hyung, I’m serious. I asked really personal things and the answers were correct.”

Jaejoong was going to make another mocking remark but seeing Changmin’s strained expression he decided to hold his tongue. Tons of fans knew what their twice-removed-third-cousin’s wife’s name was better than them so he doubted there was anything personal left for Changmin to ask and the world not to know about it. Even so, he stilled his laugh and patted Changmin’s shoulder after the latter helped him stand up.

“That is just a really developed, foolish internet game dongsaeng; there are no ghosts in your closet. Now go to sleep because we have a performance tomorrow.”

Changmin sighed and stood up.

“You’re right, Hyung. Thanks,” Changmin said with a relieved smile.

“No problem”, Jaejoong replied, getting under the covers and fluffing his pillow.

As he was making his way towards the door however, the words on the computer flashed through his mind.

I am sitting on Junsu’s bed.

Changmin’s hand froze upon the doorknob.

“Hyung?”

“Hmm?”

Changmin turned around with the most pitiful face he could conjure.

“Junsu-hyung has been having sleep-overs in Yoochun’s room and, though I hate to admit it, I’m getting lonely. Can I stay here tonight?”

Changmin swallowed a big lump that well could have been his pride while waiting for Jaejoong’s response. The older man scooted to one side of the bed and patted the space beside him.
“Climb in.”

The performance the next day was an almost success, only flawed by the fact that Yoochun twisted his ankle during a fast series of steps in the choreography thus making his moves turn awkward towards the last half minute of the song.

“It’ll be fine in a couple of days” was the only thing he said and after getting it wrapped up they all changed and climbed inside van where everyone ended up leaning on the next person’s shoulder, drowsing off.

The manager and Yunho woke the other four up when they arrived at the house. Junsu and Jaejoong helped Yoochun climb down without straining his ankle and after their manager wished them a happy break he went back inside the vehicle and sped away from the house.

The group of tired men made their way up their slanting front lawn, weak jokes being thrown at each other every few steps. Out of the corner of his eye Yunho saw something moving between the trees separating their house and the neighbors’.

Lingering behind, he walked towards the trees, cursing his luck when he realized he didn’t have his cellphone on him and wouldn’t have a light to see through the darkness caused by the trees against the already dark night. Once he got there there was nothing moving so he craned his neck wishing he could see farther into the space between the trees.

Suddenly there was some rustling on the lower bushes and a cat sprang out of them, running down the street and only pausing to turn around and look at Yunho who was clutching his hand against his chest. The cat had scared the living lights out of him. The cat stared at him, licked its paw as if mocking him and ran away.

Yunho sighed and went back towards the house. When he arrived upon the door he realized his members were probably too tired to notice he wasn’t with them and locked him out. He fished around his pockets for the keys but found nothing. Realization downed on him when he remembered that he gave them to Jaejoong before leaving the backstage room.

“Yah! Guys, I’m locked out!” he shouted hoping to be heard through the door while at the same time rapping loudly on the door.

“Changmin!! Jaejoong!! Open up!!”

A cough brought him back from his frenzied knocking and he turned to his right to find a girl standing next to him. The same girl he had seen days ago when they were repairing the house. Her clothes were cleaner now, and the tears on her arms and legs were gone. Yunho smiled and kneeling in front of the girl he started talking, wishing the girl wouldn’t run away like last time.

“Hey there little princess. Remember me from last time?”

The girl looked confused for a little while so Yunho tried to freshen up her memory.

“I’m the Oppa that has your doll, now you remember?”

The girl nodded in realization and a small smile graced her lips. Yunho smiled back brightly but frowned when he realized the girl was alone. It was too late for a little girl to be out alone.

“Where are your parents? They shouldn’t let you wander alone”, Yunho asked the girl.

The girl looked agitated for a moment and backed up. She was about to run away from Yunho when he grabbed her gently by the wrist. Yunho let her go when the girl made no move to run away anymore and stared shyly at her feet.

“Wait, sorry. If you ever need anything you can ask Oppa, okay? I don’t have your doll right now but maybe you could come some other time for it”.

The girl nodded and smiled pleased that she had found her doll.

“What’s your name?”

“Sanghee”, the girl replied in a small voice.

Just then the lights over the front porch were turned on and the door behind Yunho opened, making him turn around. Changmin was at the door and he looked at Yunho, puzzled.

“What are you doing kneeling there?” he asked the leader.

“I was with-“, Yunho turned around to find the girl gone. “Nevermind, let’s go.”

“You should really get those key copies, Hyung.”

“Yeah, I know.”
