My new obsession is Cheap Trick.
Aside from having a total fox of a lead singer, and the coolest and hottest bass player, they have two other very talented and fashionable members. Bun E. Carlos, the drummer, dresses like a modern day Hoxton hero half his age, and carries off his rather ironic look with ease. It seems he subscribes to the Gilbert & George idea of dressing as normally as one can...and it being insanely cool.
Then there's Rick. Rick. Rick. Rick.

Every thing from his cute cap to well chosen clothes reek cool. He doesn't look like anyone else, and back in the 70's when everyone had shaggy hair, jean jackets and considered the prawn salad the epitome of class, he looked amazing.
And that is why I love Cheap Trick, they manage to balance good looks with effortless chic, as well as writing some of the most memorable and catchy pop classics of the 20th Century.
