Hello Hello

Oh my goodness! I haven't updated this thing in forever...so much has happened...let me fill you in..

My spring semester was awesome. I met so many new cool people. I cried, I laughed, I danced, I conquered. I finally know what the true meaning of a friend is. Whether it be walking to the Munch at 1:30 in the morning for ice cream or a tearful car ride home from Meta practice, I gained so much.

Metamorphosis was a learning experience for me. At our first competition, I was so nervous. I was being judged on my colorguard experience..I wasn't used to that. I fell more in love with guard and learned to respect my other teammates. Cheers to Kevin and Drew for trekking to every competition. I learned a crappy lesson the day before my very first competition. Thank God for my big sister, Puck, and the great tasting bottle of Coke:)

ASA was stressful but fun. We got a handful of great girls for our initiate class. I was there handing out bids and they seemed like a great asset to ASA. The meetings slowly wound down and end of the year procedures took over. Suzy, our president, was busy making plans to go to Greece for the Summer Olympics and it was so difficult saying goodbye to girls that I felt like I had spent every waking moment with. We had been through so much together and now we had to spend three months apart. I just had to keep telling myself that 'absence makes the heart grow fonder.'

I went through roommate issues...who doesn't? I basically moved out of my room and moved into Merrill. I only went back to Larzy if I absolutely had to. Let me tell you...living in an all guys dorm is fun stuff. The crazy stuff that you are exposed to makes your whole college experience seem like the best ever. I tried being a good 'girl' and I cleaned their bathroom a couple times..that didn't last very long.

I was freakin' out about my living situation next year and that's when Amy stepped in. We had this cool instant connection and we knew we would be great roomies!

I found out that I was going to be an aunt come July. I was excited, I couldn't believe that my brother and his wife were having a baby!

I moved back to Williamston at the beginning of May and started my mindless job at Baryames. I was Assistant Manager, because only one other person worked there. It paid good but the hours were crappy. Every afternoon and Saturday was taken up by work, but the paychecks seemed worth it. I got a few visitors while I was working which was always nice. Thanks Kendall, Mom and Dad, and Bert for stopping by.

Well, for tonight, that's where I am going to end....stay tuned for more..I have so much more to tell you!!

Adios, Sweet Dreams and Catch ya on the flip side!
