Last week was Vegas and this week was VBS--I pat myself on the back for providing my child with a variety of experiences. She enjoys it all and is as likely to sing "You're an Original, Baby" as "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot." (Which she did. At the Class 6 store on base. The other patrons didn't seem pleased.)
Peter coming home tomorrow after a week-long TDY. I was going to whisk him away for dinner and a movie, but I don't think that after a week without adult conversation I'll be able to shut up long enough to watch a two-hour film.
I watched a lot of funeral today. Never was a huge Reagan fan, but I love the pageantry of a state to-do.
Dock update: Nada. No progress since Mother's Day.
