Well, I guess I should have known something like this would have happened, simply because it's me. I lost the person I came with, which was okay because I wanted to walk around by myself for a little while anyway, but then I lost my cell phone. So I couldn't call him and find out where he was. So I was by myself for 80% of it. I wouldn't have been if I hadn't lost my goddamn phone...but let's skip the patheticness for now.
I got there in time for the lostprophets, or however the hell you write their name, oh yeah and I saw some of Yellowcard, and then I saw Papa Roach and New Found Glory and The Living End, who I hadn't heard of before, but they were good, and then I was in the front for POD! Eventually I found Drew and a bunch of other pvi people (I soon lost them, too). Drew had apparently been moshing for a while and nobody else felt like going up to the front, which is where I HAD to be for Jay-Z, so I went up there myself. To see Jay-Z. In person. Maybe twenty feet away (or whatever, I'm not good at measurements).
He was awesome!!!!!!!!! I couldn't really see him that well, as I was being repeatedly smushed into people whose shirts could have filled a swimming pool with sweat, but he was right there on stage!!!!!!! Holy freaking hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Offspring was equally awesome, and I was sad that I wasn't in the crowd for their set, but if I didn't get lemonade I would have passed out. The Cure was GREAT. They were last, and it was dark out so the stage was lit up and stuff. They played Pictures of You, obviously, and a bunch of others I recognized but don't know the names of.
Okay, so it wasn't the best concert of my life. But oh well. I'm still glad I went. Oh yeah, and my mom called the police and reported me as a missing person. Oh, the fun.
Six Flags was fun! (Jane- I didn't see you..excet in that one restaurant) I went on the merry go round and I got pity prizes. Pictures from everything coming soon.
In closing, I got 99 problems but the bitch ain't one.
