mr. ralph nader was on letterman last night. what a guy (albeit kind of scary-looking). he said he knew he wasn't going to win, but he quoted someone as saying it's better to vote for someone you believed in who wasn't going to win, than to vote for someone you don't believe in who is going to win. and although i don't know many of the words that politicians use and in fact anybody would sound knowlegdeable in it to me, he did sound like he really knew what he was talking about. what a guy, indeed. so last saturday there were police cars all down my street and helicopters flying over my neigghborhood...apparently a guy caused a big accident on 66 (pretty much right next to my house- you can see it from here) and ran away from the police and into my street. i didn't hear anything else about it, so uh...i don't know if they caught him. who cares, right? but you know, i understand why he did run away. no, i'm not a criminal, i'm not saying i would do that. but i understand that he must have felt scared and panicked or something. i set aside today as my college essay-writing day. does this look a college essay?
for anyone who's interested, the third (and my favorite) episode of futurama is on tbs at 1:30 am.
