(no subject)
Ok, so I guess it's about time that I update this thing again...I'm really good at waiting almost a month between posts...hehe ;)
Work's over! Yippee! It was a long, exhausting summer at work, and I'm so glad that I have a break before school starts. Those kids just wore me out this summer...I pretty much didn't have a voice all summer from all the yelling, I had my life threatened by a 12 year old kid (it's sounds scary, but I pretty much just laughed it off, & look, I'm here to write about it so I guess it turned out OK), and I barely made any money doing it all. Hmm, sounds like a LONG summer to me...
This past weekend was Steve's cousin's wedding in Grand Rapids. It was really nice, and I'm so glad I was able to do everything I had to to be able to go. Saturday was my sister's first wedding shower up north. I really enjoyed it. We stayed on the farm all weekend...which is nice for a weekend, but I know I would never be able to live up there. Scott's parents have a cat that had 7 kittens, and they were so adorable! They are only 4 weeks old (they just learned how to walk!), and I totally fell in love with one of them. Too bad they grow up. I swear, if you could give them drugs to keep them small, I'd take one in a heartbeat, but they get big, ugly, & mean. Not exactly the kind of pet I want. So they'll just have to go to other houses rather than mine.
I am so umbelieveably excited to move back to Kzoo this weekend! I seriously feel like I've been waiting for this all summer. Summers at home aren't the same anymore, and this summer has really made me realize just how much I miss everyone in Kzoo (not to mention being away from my boyfriend of almost a year that I love very much). I know I made the right decision to come back a week before classes start so I can just enjoy myself and get myself settled in to my new place. It'll be just what I need. :)
P.S. Coming back to WMU and having Bailey gone is also awesome!! :)
