HOLY CRAP!!!
So I had just about the scariest drive back to Kzoo ever tonight...
It was about 8:30pm earlier tonight. I was heading south on I-69, cruising at like 71 mph in the right lane. This girl passes me in the left lane, then gets back over in front of me. She's driving like 100 feet in front of me, probably. Well, this SUV comes up along side of me, and he wasn't that far in front of me when he suddenly slammed on his brakes. I didn't know what was going on, so I slammed mine on too, and all of a sudden a deer goes flying across the freeway into the median, and smoke starts coming out from the girl's car that was in front of me! She started spinning and landed almost facing the other way in the ditch! I'm lucky that her car didn't hit mine or the SUV since we were so close to her. I couldn't believe that she hit the deer right in front of me! Seriously, if she hadn't passed me, I would've been the one to hit it! I've never seen anyone hit a deer (just them already dead on the side of the road), so I pretty much just started freaking out. I even had to pull of to the side of the freeway because I was shaking so bad. It looked pretty bad...the girl's car was all smashed up. I would've stopped to see if she was ok but like 3 other cars already had, so I figured they had it under contro. I called my dad & told him what happened, and he was pretty freaked out for me, but he got me to calm down so I could keep driving. I was so paranoid the rest of the way after that! I guess that's the last time I take that way back to school!
