What do you do with a B.A. in...?

Yea, I finally have internet! (Much of Insight's network has been down since I got back from Vegas. *old woman booooo*)

Speaking of Vegas yes, I am officially a jetsetter. This time last week I was perusing the Ansel Adams exhibit at the Bellagio and enjoying the desert heat on my way to seeing Avenue Q! (As opposed to now, where the weather is cold and rainy and I'm attempting to shut out our fifth f'ing graduation ceremony today! I calculated that when I finally leave here, I will have been to 24 graduation ceremonies, none of which will be for me.) Anyway, back to Vegas. On Sunday, my friend Erica, her boyfriend Nick and I drove to Red Rock Canyon and took an awseome but brief tour as we realized about 1/4 of the way into it that we had about 2 gallons of gas left, mabye. Still, it was beautiful and I highly recommend it if you're ever out that way. We made it to a gas station and then headed out to Hoover Damn which was also very interesting. The lake that formed when they made the damn is called Lake Mead, which I thought was amusing :) Then I got to play Texas Hold 'Em at the Palms!! I won a hand, but I wasn't actually up money so I kept playing and lost everything. But I had fun and that's what really counts, right?
Once back in Chicago, I finally met Zarfmouse in person and had Ethiopian food for the first time in my life. It was quite tasty!

Ooh yeah, and I got to pet a shark at the Shark Reef in Mandalay Bay!

vegas, travel
