[ Today, you are having a perfectly normal day. Perhaps you are on your way to the battle dome. Perhaps you're walking home along the path. Perhaps you're in the middle of town. Or perhaps you're heading further north

[someone is still a slight bit slow-going, however, 95 percent is plenty good enough for Sora to venture out on his own. bakeries need invading and all that.]
[but 95 percent still isn't 100 percent. in any case, that may attribute to the reason why Sora winds up flat on his rear when Xion crashes right into him, oof.]
[ She says it at the same time he does, without realizing it. She's a bit tangled up with him as a result of their fall, though she immediately pushes back, as if she intends to scramble away and keep running...
... and then she sees who it is, and freezes. ]
Sora?!
[ Only shock is keeping her from tackling him to the ground with a hug. Thank goodness for small favors. She'll come to her senses in a moment. ]
Worried? That's the question I should be asking you! [ Her smile is shaky, and faint, but it's there. She can't help but lean around to take a look at his wings before glancing up at his face again. ] I'm fine! Are you? [ A question with deeper implications than the immediate collision. ]
[two wings, firmly planted in his back exactly where they're supposed to be! it's almost as if losing one never happened, save for the way his heart twinges when Sora realizes what Xion is looking for. not that she can outright feel that, though when her gaze reverts back to him, she might catch an expression that looks... sheepish? extremely ashamed with himself, perhaps, but the smile he was wearing at first is back just as quickly as it left.]
[ ... she just looks at him for a moment with big, inquisitive eyes. Yes, she saw that. And ... yes, she can guess at its meaning. ... but Sora is Sora, and she won't say anything further on the matter. Her smile is truer, now, and she takes one of his hands to give it a quick squeeze. ]
I'm so glad to see you. ... sorry about that, by the way. [ With a faint, sheepish laugh to her tone. ] I wasn't watching where I was going.
It's all right! It's definitely not the first time I've been run over.
[he's just poking lightly at her, if his tone and the way his smile hasn't gone anywhere is anything to go by. Sora slowly untangles himself from the wreckage and pushes himself to his feet with a light dusting off of his shorts. and if Xion still wasn't sure about what he said a moment ago, he reaches down to offer his hand, and rounds it off with a:]
I think I probably would have done the same thing, if I were in your shoes. Let's go home.
[ She takes his hand. It's really so, so good to see him. It immediately makes her feel a little better, to see him on his feet. She'll never be rid of that image, of him on the ground screaming in pain ... so to see him so well now is a huge relief. She gives his hand a squeeze before she lets it go. ] You sure you want to go back? Where were you headed, anyway?
[not to worry, Xion, that's a state he never, ever plans in being in again, as long as he can help it. no more being weak. he's had three weeks for that already.]
Aw, I can go get food any day of the week! Getting you home's more important.
Um.... [ She places her hands over her stomach and frowns a little, briefly looking down at it before looking up at him again. ] I don't remember the last time I ate...
I'm okay. Let's go! [ She smiles, clasping her hands behind her back and nodding her head in the direction of the village plaza -- now that she's got her bearings. ]
[well, if she's sure... Sora will lead the way toward the plaza, but he can't help but glance over at her every other minute. it's almost like he wants to ask something, but... no. things he now knows about what happened back home... definitely not a subject to be broaching. not right now, probably not ever.]
[but 95 percent still isn't 100 percent. in any case, that may attribute to the reason why Sora winds up flat on his rear when Xion crashes right into him, oof.]
What-- ow!

After the fifth or sixth time of this, she lifts a hand to her face, as if she might find something there, then looks up at him. ]
