I watch CNN everyday...and late last night, CNN's "Next" program featured a story about the Stardust spacecraft. To make a long story short, the Stardust was launched into space on Jan 2004 with the purpose of capturing cometary dust from a comet. Stardust came back to Earth a few days ago with its payload of interstellar dust. Now the Stardust project is seeking volunteers to help them find these dust particles because if they were to do it with their own manpower alone, it would take more than twenty years of continuous scanning for them to find all the dust! Cool challenge, I think ;-)
I've ALWAYS been interested in space exploration and the like since I was a kid. So I will definitely sign up as a volunteer and see if I can find anything!!
