My god, what has college done to me? I'm almost completely alone. I have few friends and I'm miserable most of the day. I go from class to class speaking to nobody and keeping to myself. People have even tried to talk to me but I keep holding back. I can't help it. I want friends and I just want to spend more time with people that I like (and I'm

i think sears is about the competition though between everybody. maybe the money but its about who does better than the others. it can get really annoying though, i agree. I used to hate the competition. Now I love the competition cuz I always try to better myself at knowledge and expressing myself. i think if u just think of the competition as a way to improve everyday, competition isnt such a bad thing.
there's a lot of competition in the music video industry. It makes me want to cry my eyes out day and night. its the only thing that makes me doubt myself sometimes. I'm sure theres a similar form of competition in theatre.
So yeah, i completely agree with u.
It sucks for people like health in our store that needs the money to pay for his sick father's hospital bills. thats when money sucks!
money is also responsible for the downfall of our society. Its responsible for the manipulation tactics of our shameless leaders in washington.
money will never make anyone happy, and it is certainly not a measure of success. those who think money makes the world go round need to stop being jewish and get their head out of the dirt.
I like your simplistic, natural, unstuborn views scatt! we both have something we love and in a lot of ways we relate. except you're the evil twin- i'm not the evil one!
maybe we should totally get an apartment in philly sometime. I want one too!
PS- never be ashamed of wanting to do theatre. I know you're not, but dont let your mom get you down. I read something from Wendell today which relates to your situation as well. Like, people, especcially my mom sometimes, think I'm crazy when I say I want to be well known and have the nation see my work and etc etc etc. The fact is, you're not being stubborn when u say you want to succeed to a far point in your career. In fact, Mr. Wendell says it's a good thing. Here he talks about a video he has done:
"No, I went into this with the ideal of making the best possible video and to make the artist look beautiful and get her some major airplay on all those Viacom owned channels like BET, MTV JAMZ and VH-1 Soul. I want this video to be seen by as wide an audience as possible. I want other artists, their labels and music video production companies saying, "Who directed that Adriana Evans video? " Oh, Wendell Scot Greene! Dope! yeah, get me that guy!
Now that may sound arrogant. You might be going, "Yeah, surrrreee, whatever!" But I'm telling you, if you're NOT thinking that way, why bother? IMO,you shouldn't be in the game because what's the point of thinking otherwise? The best directors were always reaching beyond their grasp when they were starting out. And that is why we know their names and respect their work. Even starting out, when no one knows who you are, you have to have that dedication, you have to see yourself where you want to be, not just where you are at present. "
so yeah, you and me succeed in that aspect. we know what we love and stuff!
Okk i'm tired!
PS- next time we work together, i wanna see u kick everyone's ass and watch them get all jealous, muaa hahaa!
