Hi everyone, I'd like to share a recent experience I had with Sharlyn Soh (@lovethbrand on Instagram).
She claimed to sell the Love Bonito Alannis Shift Dress in XS at $35. I emailed her to buy it and the transaction went extremely seamlessly. She even offered to mail it to me via AM mail because I needed it urgently for CNY.
When I received the parcel on Tuesday (28 Jan), the dress arrived with a really nice note and a Burt's Bees deep cleansing cream, which I thought was extremely thoughtful and kind of her!
However, when I took the dress out, it turned out to be a dress that is similar to the Alannis dress, but not the same item.
So I decided to drop her an email:
"It's actually the same one as LB, but not from LB. When I bought this, LB haven't even come out with this design. I can swear on that. Yeappp!But I hope it fits u well babe. it's the same material and cut from LB. That I can assure u. Cos my friend has it, and apparently, I compared. Is like exact same carbon copy. "
As you can see from her email reply, she did not deny that the dress was not the original LB dress she claimed to sell.
After this, I emailed her to ask very politely for a refund because it was a different dress from what she claimed to sell but she has not replied me since. I've sent her two follow-up emails but haven't gotten a reply. I have a feeling she does not intend to reply me... ever.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can resolve this issue?
