Sunday was much better than Saturday. Since we had our badges, we just walked right on in to look around.

Much of our time was spent in the art show exhibit and the artist gallery, which was a blast! I got to meet Mark Poole, an artist who's been doing Magic the Gathering cards since the very first set, and he was pure awesome. got him to sign a few things and chat a bit, which was great.

Also met the writer/artist of a series called Mouse Guard. We chatted for a bit and I ended up buying hard covers of his first two series, and the rpg hardback he had sitting there. It was a little pricey, but well worth it. He signed all three and was happy to talk. I like to support cool people.

Kinda stumbled into something called Owly, which is so mind-numbingly adorable I couldn't resist picking up one of the books and a shirt. I mean, serious, adorable is an understatement... the main character is this cute little owl with huge eyes. It just sucked me in.

Other than that, my fiance picked up a Gundam... it's a mastergrade, but it's frickin' HUGE. 100 dollars worth of huge. It looks like it'll stand about a foot and a half done completed. OMG.

All in all, an awesome weekend. We're gonna prereg next year, I had no idea there'd be so much stuff there.
