My sister called today and was a little worried about me because of the post I wrote earlier about the "scent of a woman" thing.
And the reason that I mentioned it earlier today is that one of the many valuable things that Lisa brought me aside from an overall sense of contentment was just this sense of peace and balance. She didn't just make me a better person, she made things better. And aside from just something to remember her by, it was just an acknowledgment that I still seek the peace and comfort and contentment and balance that she gave.
As I said in my video post this weekend, the baseline has shifted and I was thinking about things that might shift it back.
