Spring Break continues apace - work work work, work work - but there are a few things it'd be awesome if y'all had a minute to do.
It's The Legendary Katie's birthday today. If you've never checked out The Legendary's fabulous collection of poetry, fiction, and other treats for the soul, today seems like the perfect day to go and see the man box the kangaroo.
Now through midnight CST on Sunday, March 14, you can nominate the 2011 Wiscon GOH. There are many worthy people who deserve this nomination, but yuki_onna, the fabulous Catherynne M. Valente, is getting mine, because it'd be too perfect for her to be GOH the year Fairyland has its print release at wiscon. Send a short email to newsletter34 at wiscon.info with the name(s) of your nominee(s) and a short paragraph explaining your choices, and nominate Cat if you like.
Speaking of all things wiscon, con_or_bust is not quite ready to cover all the requested needs, so I put up a Last Minute Grab Bag lot, including the Pretzel Snake God Cake, chocolate chip fudge, a book, some Good Advice, and a surprise.
