Radical ideas sometimes require radical measures

Over the years I have gotten rid of many books. Many of which I have never even read and I've always found that to be a bit disheartening. The thing is, I am now at a point in my life where I really want to purge and I know I could benefit from it greatly, in so many ways.

The OTHER thing is, I like to have my cake and eat it too.

So I'm going to try an experiment. I'm going to try and read as many books (that I own) as I can. My reading skills have really fallen by the way side and I was never a fast reader to begin with. My FaceBook usuage will suffer but I honestly don't give a rat's ass about that. My gaming time will also suffer but if I actually manage to pull this off I know I won't regret it.

Also, I won't beat myself up if the experiment doesn't work. That'll be A-OK too. I'll get rid of books and STILL benefit in the long run. Let's call this experiment #1.
