so good
today has been amazing and it's not even noon yet. i woke up next to an amazing girl who i've had the unforseen pleasure of getting to know quite well lately. i stared into her eyes for longer than should be legal until i realized that we were 10 minutes late for breakfast and scrambled with clothes and toothpaste and apologetic phone calls to Joshua. we woke up Tracy and headed to Ernie's for coffee and veggie sausage. afterwards we headed immediately to Slackers for *brace yourselves kids* the re-release of The Downward Spiral, digitally remastered and remixed, and complete with either a DVD of even more extras or a second CD of various DS remixes. being the fatatics that we are, Tracy and i collectively bought one of each. i'm listening to it right now and it feels as good as if it were the first time i'd heard it. now that i'm home i'm making preparations to kill my computer and start over. it's been a long time since i wiped her off and cleaned things up and i'm extremely excited. she's getting new RAM and a wireless card and all new software. so i'm waiting on Nika to get back w/ her XP CD and whatever else she has in her nerdy bag of tricks. can i tell you again how cool this girl is? she says things like "you could have a piece of string, a paperclip, and a stick of gum and run linux" and it's just too much! i feel like i could explode, like there's too much happiness to fit inside my skin. so we're gonna spend the day being nerdy together and i can't imagine a better time. god it feels good to be happy...
