What I'm up to now...
Hey there!
Things have been pretty busy for me here in Pittsburgh, and I wanted to take a second to keep everyone in the loop.
I'm about to head to Virginia for a few days on a real job! I am going to be shooting footage for a documentary about Log Cabin restoration. Me and my camera have started to get some work! First for the NotLD documentary, second for the Barge movie, and third for this gig.
Also, Ephraim and I have been scrambling to finish a script for a production company in NY. To make a long story semi-abbreviated, we have made connections with a new production company that wants to make money, and they have money to invest in films. We cranked out a treatment over a weekend, and they liked it. Now we have ten days to write a script. Gah! Wish us luck!
Finances are starting to bug me. I will need to take another sound job next year, and there looks to be a couple on the horizon, so that is good news. That also means I will be back in CA, which will be great.
Other than that, things are ok. Its cold. No snow yet, but I'm sure that will change.
I pitched Sledge to a bunch of people here and they all loved it! Being such a union town, they dig that kind of thing here.
I'm looking forward to working with evilfb on our zombie movie when I get back to CA. I really want to pitch it to Romero and co.
