da weekend...
this past weekend was a fun time...
on friday, we went to a happy hour - it was for someone i work for her birthday and it was a fine time... went to black bear and then hula hanks in new haven... fun times...
saturday, we went to lake compounce and did up some rides and then the haunted graveyard - which was friggin' AWESOME!
today, we basically did nothing, and it was great - just did some errands early in the morning, and then stayed at my place and did as little as possible...
...i did do some christmas shopping though on-line - i want to get it done as early as possible and honestly, i got most of my family covered... just gotta get some small things for some friends and finish up becky's shopping (i got her big gift already... and, i'm not saying... she'll read it and i want to be able to see the reaction when i give it... and, no, it isn't an engagement ring... that is next year at some time...) but i'm pretty much done with everything...
...that with some bills paid, i'm really happy.
tomorrow, starts back up with work, and really not looking forward to it, but i have two personal days this week - on thursday and friday... so, with those days, i'll be able to relax a little bit, look through other departments at my workplace and put in some applications and maybe work on some writing... i really need those days and happy they were approved...
...and, since becky has a half day on thursday, we can maybe do something for lunch, which i'm happy about... any excuse to spend more time with her, i'm happy about it...
on a side note, anyone see the commercial for "the game of life - twists & turns" yet? it is funny, because they have a girl going "i'm going to be a movie star!" i'm just wondering if they have something in there about being a junkie whore or going to rehab... twice? talk about twists and turns my friends... if they had that in that game, i might actually consider getting it! if not, i'll just settle with the many variations of yahtzee becky and i play!

well, off to bed, right next to my becky, with the feeling that things will always be well with her on my side...
