day of discovery....
today went by fast.
see what happens when that hour is taken away - mondays go by faster!
but, it was somewhat busy today, so i'm sure that was the reason.
everyone had tired looks on their faces as well... myself included.
made sure i doubled up on green tea this morning.
i went to lunch later today - actually stayed at work for lunch, which is rare. my friend asked to have lunch with him to talk.
go back to yesterday - while eating wings, people were looking through my bag from borders. one of them looked at the book i got "how to publish, promote, and sell your own book." he asked "you write" and told him that i did, and he said "we need to talk!"
so, had lunch with him today, and found out not only did he write, but some other people in the department are pretty damn creative as well! it was kind of cool, because at my old job, i felt kind of out of place at times - a lot had to do with the time i worked, the people i worked with and... well, some people thought me weird and didn't understand me at all.
so, it is cool to finally see that i work with people that can and are actually excited about writing and other arts. it just helps get me motivated more and come up with things...
...i guess taking that wall down i have around me at times has its perks.
so, it was just a good day...
now, i'm going to get some things done - work on the bulletproof popemobile book, and then sleep.
tomorrow - work, visit the parents and watch "american idol" why i'm there.
is it me, or does it really, really suck this season, and i really don't care about it as much as past seasons? cats fucking sound better.
anyway, off to be somewhat productive...
