I'm on a path of destruction
I'm having one of those days where everything I touch just blows up somehow. This morning I was listening to my Tears for Fears album (yea, that's right...what of it?) and right as I walk out of the room I hear it stop, skip a bunch and then just sound like mud. I look over and my glass of water had vibrated off the shelf above the player, fallen on the record, broke an edge off, mashed the needle and scratched the record. Not to mention there was a glass of water on the turntable, record and needle. This wouldn't have been so bad had it not been for the fact that I just got a new record cartridge for my birthday. I had to order a replacement needle this morning.
Then, I got to put some lotion on my hands (yea, that's right...what of it?) and the lotion doesn't just gently squirt out, it BLASTS out of the pump all over my bed. Awesome.
And just now, I go to write something and the pen I decide to use bursts all over my hands and couch.
In other news, My trip to LA was awesome. Turns out the hotel we were staying in (The Viceroy) is the one where the T-Mobile commercial with Charles Barkley and Dwayne Wade was filmed. Ran into Kelsy Grammer, Chris Martin (the guy from Coldplay) and Simon Pegg (the guy in Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz).
I guess it all evens out, right?
