Other than that - I just finished reading an actual book. I mean, okay, it was 'Twitterature' but that's still words printed on paper and bound into a book-like shape, so it still counts.

Weeeelllll. I'm mostly fine, I think. I treated this as a practise run, since most people take it twice. So I maybe...turned up without studying. BUT IN MY DEFENSE, A LOT OF PEOPLE DO THAT. But there were some people there that are clearly better students than I ever will be.

There are many lolz in this book. I hadn't read/heard of most of the books they tweeted and I still found it amusing. It's a good light read - and it's inexplicably dedicated to the victims of the Titanic. I'm going to read Island next. You know. The book that Colin has been hanging out up in Mull filming the movie version of. That I bought almost a year ago so that I could read it and not be scared by any suspenseful/otherwise awkward moments in the film. Yeah, I'm about to start reading that now. I tried absorbing it via osmosis but that failed, so I guess I have to fall back on actual reading

No it just sat here next to me for months and months and months while we eyed each other off. Warily. Like we're doing right now, in fact. Good thing I know how to touch type or I'd lose this staring competition.

I found a blue t-shirt in my cupboard the other day. I was all HUZZAH LET ME MAKE THIS A TREK SHIRT and it is just slightly too small and that made me cranky.

That's what I'm doing with a bunch of books as well. It's just they're currently losing to textbooks. Damn those textbooks. Making me hussy around on my beloved fiction.
