the democratic elections have been coming up in basically every conversation i've had lately. at first i was all like, fuck, we're not even american, why do you care so much, there's nothing you can do about it. canada is just another american state. and i was pissed because i didn't believe that a white woman or a black man would be able to defeat the bible belt and the democrats should elect someone who could so as not to risk another republican president.
but then i saw this video and at first was like, lame, as per usual my first reaction, then i sent it to my dad and he got really emotional about it. and i guess his reaction kinda made me realize that it is a big deal,
