what digital camera should i get? please respond!
seeing sarah's "tell me about your cell phone" post reminded me that i need some info myself regarding my own next big purchase....a digital camera. if you know about cameras, photography, and all that jazz (which i know some of you on my friends list do) please give me tips as i try to pick one out. at this point i know nothing about photography, but i would like as nice a camera as possible because i like to take pictures to paint from. some manual functions, the ability to capture plenty of detail, & a good handle on vivid color are important to me. i do not think i will be able to spend more than five hundred on it, so that's what's worrying me. (even five hundred is probably majorly pushing it) i would really appreciate any advice anyone could give me on this subject. thank you so much for any info you can give <3!
