Hallow's End

Well, sadly party didn't end up turning out, so no date with Sara. Raincheck, tho.

Just spent the evening with friends Pat and Nicki at their small gathering, having a few drinks and watching Reefer Madness, the musical. Pretty fun movie, actually. And it was nice to have company.

Really, really upset that I didn't get to spend Halloween with Jenny. I realize that it was never gauranteed, but it was very strongly implied that she and I would spend tonight together...and its kinda our holiday, as we were brought together by our extreme love of horror movies and macabre humor... but as the days went by that implication became less and less till it became an unenthused 'maybe'.
Really upset about a lot of things in that relationship, lately. I keep getting, 'please wait, please wait, I've almost got things worked out'... but I've got almost five months of evidence pointing to the reverse.
Despite the fact that Jenny is a tremendous lover, and I've been gifted with samplings of her skills every couple weeks during her relationship with Jon... I'm lonely.
If I can't have her soon to myself...or at least openly... I'll have to start looking elsewhere, which I have been kinda dreading.
Lots of interested parties; Stef, who comes back into town tomorrow, and now Sara, have been the most forward. Good to know I have attractive options out there.
Still, it's strange to start over with people from scratch after such an intense little love. I'd rather be with someone I already love and trust... but she's gotta rekindle that trust.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. C'mon babe. Don't let me down... you've told me what you want... dont' let YOURSELF down.

Anyway, happy I was able to salvage a pretty fair evening from the wreckage. Got to watch Night of the Living Dead with Jacob too. Haven't seen that in a while. Ahhh, good times.
