Before I say anything else, big thanks go to bubbleforest for making this community look amazing.
I guess I'll start by explaining why I started this community. Many times I've heard people say that the popslash/pop fandom is dead. It annoys me because we're not dead. We're smaller and slower, but dead? No way.
I know things get posted every day. We're lucky to have dedicated fans who go out of their way to contribute to our fandom. It doesn't matter if you post media every day, or squee in your journal. It's still contributing, and I wanted to celebrate that.
I first saw the idea in china_shop's journal, then at spn_appreciate, and I thought, the pop fandom could do that too.
You'll notice that I mentioned both popslash and the pop fandom, that's because while they co exist to a great extent, they're still different, but we'll be appreciating them both. So, if you're not into popslash, it doesn't matter, there'll be a challenge for you.
You don't have to complete every challenge, and I won't be checking up to see if you do. These are supposed to be fun, and that means results go on trust.
I'll be posting the first challenge sometime tonight. Until then, if you have any questions or comments, just ask.
