Hey, let me tell you about the super-cool, super-geeky idea I have.
I have a lot of electronic stuff in my living room. A surround home theater system, a computer, three synthesizers, some electronic drums, two amplifiers, a few guitars.... My idea is to take all of these devices, anything with a line-in or line-out, and hook them all up to a single patch bay so I can string them together in any combination.
(And I'm going to hire Lily Tomlin to sit next to it and crack wise from time to time.)
Then I will be able to do anything. If I want to reverse the surround speakers so that the front speakers are at the back of the room, I can. If I want to run the drum signal through my distortion pedal, I can. If I want to create a horrible horrible feedback loop, I can.
It will be awesome you guys.
