Good news this evening as intrepid US teen Abby Sunderland, attempting to sail around the world solo, was found safe and well in the Indian Ocean after earlier letting off her distress beacon and losing contact.
Less good news for the English language, as an Australian broadcaster informed us eagerly that Abby was sailing "around the world, solo. On her own".
