today, crazy crazy day....
10:30- got a call from steven about reading the quartet
11:30- read the quartet, and i officially love the bass clarinet (when it has a decent part). the music is called "four for four" love it, premiered at this past ica conference... howard klug is awesome, oh so awesome on bass. three octave jumps in eight notes at quarter note equalls 200.... and a high A above the staff (not the first ledger line A). omg i'm so happy about this...
sadly i blew out my chops playing that piece this morning so my lesson was cut short due to this sad sad fact. oh well she was cool with that.
talked with the wilson dye today, i love her miss her so much...
