oh man....
ok so today, one of my good friends, and fellow coworkers, kevin arthur was fired from clean cut.
well he must have done something bad, or wrong, or hit on the bosses wife.
NO.
Dean, who works with us, is/was kevins best friend. dean got hired around the adam lilly era( read back in my lj for adam stories) and since hes gotten hired hes proven himself to be a complete dolt. honestly folks, grass cutting isnt that hard. you cut the grass that hasnt been cut. youd think dean might pick up on that. but no.dean leaves spots, he goes for the easy stuff leaving the harder stuff for me or kevin( ie. hills, difficult areas to cut)
anyhow, obviously, dean is somewhat hard to work with. on top of it all, he keeps to himself, and wont talk to anyone or say if hes pissed off. this week started and kevin mentioned to dean that with his other job he could get enough money for this trip he wants to go on, so might quit clean cut. whatever. so dean freaks thinking that somehow if kevin quits, dean will get fired. i told you he was a retard.
so dean doesnt talk to anyone all week, he secludes himself, and just does his work, and kevin cant figure out why hes mad. so it all comes to a head today. with the weather being oh so right for a fight dean starts taking personal shots at kevin when they do talk. he tells kevin that "unless its work related dont f--king talk to me" and eventually this leads to the bosses getting involved and whatnot. so the boss gets me in the truck, and starts telling me that DEAN IS A GOOD WORKER (lie) and that me and kevin leave dean to do all the hard stuff. if we left dean the hard stuff he would A) whine and or cry or B) it wouldnt get done.
Now ive worked for clean cut for almost two years, and this year they seem to be treating us a lot more poorly than last. I was told i would get a raise if i "proved myself to be a leader" which i thought i was doing ( both kevin and dean treated me like i was a boss, kinda) so i thought i had a good case to ask for a raise. but then today im told that i do barely enough work and that i NEED TO START ACTING LIKE A LEADER.
dean is the problem, whatever. anyhow, after work, kevin talks to paul and paul asks him if he was thinking about quitting ( obviously dean told him) kevin, being the honest person he is, says yeah, and before he can explain, tells kevin to "get out if my face, i dont want to see you here ever again, call me friday for your paycheck"
This is the lamest thing ever. and its all deans fault. dean is the problem, and yet hes getting more praise than Jesus on Easter Sunday.
Tomorrow, me and Paul and dave(other boss) are going to have a little pow wow and if it doesnt turn out to my liking im so quitting.
also, did i mention hes trying to make me work on AMYS GRADUATION???? he just doesnt get it.
