last night made me so incredibly tired.

i got to babylon about two oclock and began helping hatebreed/madballcrew load in. their stage manager warren was a good guy, although very mad that there was only one loader. apparantly, in overhearing them talk, they are gonna refuse to play a venue the size of babylon again...
after helping load in the bands, i helped do regular stuff and then went downstairs to post the time schedule. warren was down there rolling a joint with the guitarist from hatebreed and hoya from madball, and asked me if i wanted to get in on it. i politely declined, but seriously, how many people could say they smoked with hoya(!!!!) and the dude from hatebreed. i shoulda done it up. ah well...

blake was really worried about the shows mix of metal and hardcore, and apparantly there had been fights in montreal, so he told me to watch carefully for any fights, or things that look like they could go wrong. someone was mentioning on po.com how it was dumb for telling jonny to cool off, after some kid had gotten in his way while he was moshing. im all for people dancing, but i guess there were a couple of incidents, i only saw one with jonny shoving this kid pretty hard, doing so while holding onto his shirt, so i told him to cool down and take it easy. the kid just kinda knocked into him too, it wasnt like he slammed right into him, so it was dumb for jonny to react the way he did. if it were any of his"uaoc" crew everyone knows it woulda been a different story. im all about sticking up for yourself if someones going to front and act like a tough guy for no reason(note:dan, read your post;))but i think be a little more open minded and cautious at shows with mixed genres.
PS dont get me wrong i still love jonny.

hatebreed gave me a shirt and i felt bad taking it cause i dont even really like the shirt. want to trade shirts dan? (dont know what for...?!)

madball certainly were good, even if as of late ive been not into hardcore at all...

sorry for not being able to talk/hang out at all. this is directed at:dan, scotty, maryanne, and anyone thats slipping my mind right now.
