Back Porch Blues
Mom called this morning. I was only able to talk to her for 60 seconds. I didn't get to tell her I loved her before our call got disconnected. She was supposed to call back once I made my payment information, but she hasn't called back yet. Maybe there is a line.
Now that I am working nights, I have all day off. My favorite pastime is sitting on the back porch with all the animals outside, listening to the radio and reading. Sometimes I'll have a beer, too. It's so relaxing.
I wish we knew what was going to happen to Mom.
