Wine and Bonding
Funny how a bottle of wine from someone who doesn't even talk to you anymore can be the very same thing that bonds you with a new person. Out with the old and in with the new.
All I know is I haven't had a connection in a while with anyone other than Dan. We've been stuck at home and broke. So it was really nice being able to drink and talk about things and really connect on a few different levels and really contribute to a conversation. I've been saving that bottle of wine for a long time, I thought for no reason. I talked about things I didn't think I would talk to anyone about other than mom & Dan. Not because they are bad but because I didn't think anyone else could relate. Sure it's 4 am but I would say that tonight was worth it.
If I had any alcohol left I would make a toast to new friends. Better than that though the alcohol was shared with new friends!
