My New Life
I'm a civilian. Have been for about 4 months now. It seems I'm getting the hang of it. At first it was really stressful trying to find a job. But now everything seems to be lining up.
The road trip was the best experience of my life. And -- Dan and I became engaged on the trip! I know. I never thought I'd see the day but if you could only see me now. I do wedding planning stuff and try to be crafty. It could even be called a hobby.
We've been dating for a year and a half. It continually blows my mind how fast the time has passed together and how well we fit together. He sent me a text today saying "before you come home from work mad, we'll talk when you get home, I love you". I barely knew I was mad (not at him). And he knew enough to predict it. But somehow my bad mood managed to take over anyway. Unfortunately.
I just really really REALLY hate irresponsible people. And I don't like being taken advantage of. PERIOD. Dan says give it two weeks. We'll see.
We are going to Mom's this weekend. Neighbor dude Kyle might come too. It should be a good time - Jesse might be there. So will Mom's boyfriend.
Yeah. Mom has a boyfriend. That's a whooole other post. Talk about mixed feelings. I sure as hell never thought I'd be dealing with this.
