hans keller 400...no camera though. I tested out all the instruments they had...well, within certain boundries, nothing above 2000 and nothing below 1200. this one had a gorgeous sound to it, the harmonics resonated so fully...it was hand crafted and made with really dark wood. when I tried another one by the same maker, it didn't have nearly the right sound as this one did...there was something different about it. plus, the wood wasn't as dark nor as aesthetically pleasing. my parents said they would get it for me because auditions are nearing... it seemed like a little bit of an anomoly...they didn't have a string expert on staff, and the guy was so surprised that we tried all the instruments that he gave us a discount, but he tried to sneak it in....kind of funny... mom: "I thought it was more expensive than that"...sales guy whispers: "I'm giving you a discount

I agree. cello has a much fuller sound. but violin is what I have grown up playing. plus, without violins, where would the extremely high microtones go? bahaha <3 how are you?
