Today. we went to my dad's apartment, we gathered our stuff...i was waitin for him to walk in any minute.
in one of his journals he wrote bout me, it made me feel really good bout our relationship.
"Matt kept asking what i was gonna do today, always could sense my loneliness, rotten kid. I blew off the question knowing how much i wanted to spend time with him"
go i wish i could hangout with him one more time, not for sappy love bs. just to have a regular hangout...bullshittin...laughing.

I HAVE FOUGHT SO HARD TO BE IN YOUR LIFE, TO BE YOUR DAD, FRIEND, MENTOR, AND A GOOD EXAMPLE"
he was my dad...my great dad, that i could brag to everyone bout...he was the friend i could talk to anything bout, from me and JR talking to him stoned when he'd laugh at us all the way to how he'd talk bout how he's messed up, he said he wouldnt give up on me, i dont feel he ever did. He was indeed my mentor, i got so many habits (not to mention my boyish good looks) from him, im so glad that i could be the one to look like him. he was a great example, i can only hope to treat my own kids with the twisted humor and love he treated me with.
"Called the boys again. Matt got the job (cobblestone). I am so proud of him...Maybe i can go get my pain meds straightend out and get a job again, and stop just sittin in this apartment, It's a sign!"
if i had any idea he was this proud, and me havin a job provided him this much motivation, i woulda stuck with it.
