Cooking in Poverty, Volume Eight (FIXED PICTURES)

Sep 04, 2009 20:15

Hey, guys. Today was a Very Bad Day. I had a lot to do, and my bank account was drained by rent and bills.

BAD.

My car was hit in a parking lot. Minor damage, but still...

BAD.

I bought a McNotBlizzard...

GOOD. But so so bad.

You know what made it better? Spicy Chicken Fajitas.

Bad-quality pictures return! But we have food with color and texture and shit! )

That actually looks pretty good, and usually I'm kind of grossed out by amateur food photography. Nice job:)

those fajitas look sooo good! and you made it all at home too. awesome.

one question.. what does one use to pound the chicken while it's in the bag? i've honestly never done that to tenderize meat before.

i get a strange satisfaction out of using a frying pan, but anything hard will work really. canned foods are good.

I usually use a rolling pin myself - pretty much anything hefty and solid will work.
