Legit Debt Management Programs
I'm in dire straits financially and am curious about debt managment programs, whereby the agency negotiates with creditors and handles the payments to them. I'm looking for a good, legititmate program whose payments won't leave me broke every month. Consumer Credit Counseling(CCC) receives funding from the credit card companies, so I'd rather not go with them...they have too much vested interest. A few people I know have had negative experiences with them.
I live in CA....any suggestions? Would be willing to work with a company that can handle things online. I've been doing my research and homework, but have come up empty-handed...
