I saw in the memories a post about the wonderful change jar...however I never carry cash around with me anymore. Everything gets debited.
Bank of America offers a 'keep the change program' that rounds up your debited purchases to the next dollar. The extra 'change' gets deposited into your savings account. They also match the amount for the first 3 months. I don't know what the interest is on the the savings account, but it has to better than nothing.
It sounds like a good idea...does anyone have any experience with this? I don't have a savings account yet and I thought this would be an easy way to get started (and maybe an easier way to balance my quicken).
