you know those mastercard commercials where they say "blahdee blah, blah blah blah, 5 dollars, mastercard, priceless?"
well there's a new one and the first part says "lasagna noodles, ground beef, sauce, cheese: $47"
my wife and i can't figure out how to spend more than $26 on that stuff and we know we could spend a whole hell of a lot less.
for some reason this commercial bugs the crap out of me.

and of course the visa commercial with the song "downtown" where the girl fixes her problems (all of which seem to stem from a broken shoe) by purchasing an entire new wardrobe and make-over isn't helping my mood any either. i really need to stop watching late night TV and go to sleep.
