Contact Lenses

Feb 28, 2007 09:43

I finally made the switch from glasses to contact lenses and I'm wondering, where is the cheapest place to get them? I'm being told around $40. after a rebate, anyone have better deals than that?

www.visiondirect.com usually has good deals on contacts. It depends on the brand and type of contacts though as far as exact prices go.

Depends on the power you need. I get mine at Walmart :-O, yeah but they are only like 17 bucks for 3 pairs there.

1-800-Contacts is where my husband gets his. They're $80 for 6 months worth of the 2-week wear Acuvue. I asked for a discount at my optomitrist's office and get mine for $81 every 6 months. Not bad to ask for a discount. Worst they can do is say no. I told the lady at my Dr.'s office tha I was having a hard time paying and I was considering getting them from 1800Contacts and she gave up the discount right away.

I order mine online from walmart (one box ends up being like 2 bucks cheaper online than in the store). I use acuvue oyasis and i pay about 23 bucks a box online or 25 in the store

I order mine from coastalcontacts.com and the prices seem to be pretty good. You get deals for buying more, but I usually end up just getting 2 or 3 boxes at a time.
