So I've been doing some research lately and seriously considering my options regarding filing chapter 7 bankruptcy, because of outstanding debts that I'll probably never be able to pay off.
And I was wondering, does filing bankruptcy affect receiving financial aid for school at all ? This probably seems like a stupid question... but if I'm going to be bankrupt for the next 8 years I at least want to finish school.
Also, does anybody with personal experience / insight of the matter have any advice or words of wisdom to offer me before I make the big decision? Any at all would be appreciated. I'm receiving a telephone call on Saturday from an attorney with free legal advice on bankruptcy, but in the meantime I'll take any advice I can get. Thanks.
