Spray bottle advice?

I make my own cleaners and put them into (well-labelled) spray bottles, but the sprayers bust with disappointing regularity. (I'm talking about things that look like thisSometimes the long tube that stick down into the solution stops spraying liquid and all I get is puffs of air. More often, after I squeeze the trigger, it sticks, and doesn't ( Read more... )

Try looking in farm and feed or tack stores. The bottles there are not only more robust but also more adjustable than the ones you buy from the cleaning section. They aren't much more than normal bottles, heck sometimes they are cheaper, but they work really well.

I've used this one with fabulous success: http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441769966&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302036522&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302036042&bmUID=1163791544654&itemNo=2&In=Horse&N=2036522&Ne=2

Restaurant supply stores would likely stock sturdy spray bottles.

I always had the same problem with any spray bottle. However, I found a Zep sprayer at Home Depot and I've not had a single problem with it.

I don't know if it was the switch to distilled water, or different bottles, but Sprayco bottles were recommended to me, and thus far I haven't had any problems.

I was buying mine at a tool warehouse type place, who's name I cannot currently remember (other than it isn't Home Depot), However, I recently found them at Walgreens.

no advice, but I do hate that. we use spray bottles at work for cleaning solutions, and it's really annoying hen they don't work.
